Delving into Mycelial Space, Workshop by Dr Sarah Kolb
(pls register via mail wailea@zuelch.space)

The collaborative project Mycelial Space centers fungi as a way to explore the intricacies of relational, non-binary knowledge production. Based on the participatory format "Parliament of Lines", developed in collaboration with Jutta Strohmaier, the workshop invites participants to collectively engage in a mycelium network, intertwining evolving narrative threads in small groups hands-on using a variety of materials. Participants are invited to contribute anything related to fungi: personal experiences, perceptions, stories, theoretical insights, practical or scientific knowledge, artifacts as well as imaginations of alternative futures. Drawing on the non-hierarchical and mostly hidden structures and workings of mycelial networks, we delve into an open and sensible space to explore the intersections of art, science, and practical wisdom in the context of Mycelial Space.

before now, while becoming after
Edible Installation and Performance Lecture by Margaretha Jüngling

A fragmentary narration around multispecies collaborations, food, and its possibilities to imagine with and beyond language. The performance-lecture activates a small communal meal, trying to question and de-zombify our senses and resist the belief in 'purity.'

Psychedelic «Pututu»-Drones by Zürcher Schneckenchor - Michael Flury & Nicola Habegger

With four conch shell trumpets, the Schneckenchor forges an extraordinary bridge between the most disparate times and cultures. What started as Michael Flury's exploration into the ritualistic use of spiral conch shell trumpets in Chavín, Peru, circa 1200 BCE, has blossomed into a spellbinding musical odyssey. Ancient American sacred sounds flow seamlessly into modern approaches merging into a vibrant, transcendent tapestry that defies the boundaries of time and tradition.
